I finally got a Saturday to catch up on my "to do" list! Clint spent the day at a golf outing with some men from church, so I had the whole day to myself, which was actually really nice :-) I took our dog, Cricket, to the vet to get his shots up-to-date and all that fun stuff. He was really good and enjoyed the peanut butter the nurse gave him ;-) Then we went home and ate lunch. After a relaxing episode of The Pretender, I got off the couch and cleaned the entire apartment from top to bottom and boy did it need it! I finally got to my thank you notes at about 2:30 and spent 5 hours finishing them. But...they are finished! Well, except for the 20 I don't have addresses for ;-) But at least they're sealed and ready to go. I like thanking people, but it's been like a dark cloud looming over my head the last 2 months, so I'm glad I had time today to get those done :-)
I enjoy accomplishing things from my "to do" list. But, what I've found is that the relief is only momentary, because usually shortly after you cross one thing off, another thing gets added on. I guess that's life! :-)
